From 22 to 26 September 2025, the XXVIII Biotechnology Summer School took place in Kościerzyna, Poland, under the theme
“The Green Side of One Health: From Basics to Industrial Applications.”

This year’s edition brought together students, PhD candidates, and early-career researchers for a week of lectures, workshops, and scientific exchange focused on green biotechnology and its applications in health and agriculture.

In addition to the academic program, participants engaged in integration activities such as kayaking, group discussions, and a themed social evening, fostering collaboration and networking across disciplines.

Organized by the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology UG & MUG, the event was supported by partners from academia and industry, continuing the School’s tradition of promoting interdisciplinary education and innovation in biotechnology.

We are proud to have facilitated a space for learning, networking, and exchange between emerging and established voices in biotechnology. We hope the knowledge, ideas, and connections made during the XXVIII Biotechnology Summer School will continue to grow beyond the event itself.

Thank you once again for being a part of this year’s Summer School – and we hope to see many of you at future editions.
